Feature updates and improvements to Merge Markdown.

Drag and drop to add files

  • Drag .md, .markdown, or .txt files straight onto the page — no more clicking to browse. Drop several at once.
  • Drop whole folders: every Markdown file inside is picked up automatically and sorted in natural filename order (so chapter-2 comes before chapter-10).
  • The page highlights while you drag, and everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Dated download filename

  • The merged file is now saved as YYYY-MM-DD-merged.md so different batches are easy to tell apart.
